About Us

Team Amazing Day coaches hold a wide variety of certifications including USAT Level 1, TrainingPeaks Certified Coach, NASM-CPT, USA Swimming & RRCA.  We have attended seminars and lectures on topics ranging from nutrition to sport-specific coaching, skill development, gait and whole-body movement analysis, anatomy, physiology, injury prevention, and improving performance through mental strength.  Through our home in Boulder, CO, athletes have access to the same resources and support that professional athletes have.  We host annual run and multisport training camps hosted out of RallySport Health & Fitness, home to many current and former professional athletes including 70.3 and Ironman World Champions.

Training is done through a holistic approach to endurance that involves training by heart rate, power and paces that are specific to each athlete.  Athletes receive customized daily schedules that include swim, bike, run and strength workouts, as well as individualized support for specific weaknesses, building mental strength, nutrition both in and out of training, race planning and pacing as well as balancing training against a busy lifestyle.  We also offer single-sport training plan options which allow self-sufficient athletes to join our team at an affordable cost.

We work with a broad spectrum of athletes, ranging from beginners tackling their first 5K to experienced triathletes looking to get stronger and faster for their next ironman.  Founded in 2012, our athletes have consistently set PRs, stood atop podiums, and qualified for events such as the Boston Marathon, Aquathlon, Duathlon, 70.3 and Ironman World Championships.  Our belief is that endurance training is merely a vehicle for change in life.  And as much as we are thrilled when athletes PR a race or complete a distance for the first time, we are just as proud to watch our athletes grow and change as people, to see them becoming more powerful, more relentless, more brave, and more joyful.

I am addicted to endurance sports, there is no doubt about that.  I’ve seen nine 13_m-100761638-DIGITAL_HIGHRES-1826_013677-7496040ironman finish lines, completed over a dozen 70.3s and hundreds of other race distances including a 2nd place finish at USMS National Open Water Championships, 70.3 World Championships, and 10+ top ten finishes at major races.  I love being part of the journey an athlete ventures on when seeking health, happiness, and fitness and I never want to stop investing in my own education as coach.  My goal is to support athletes who want to live a healthier lifestyle, who are looking to seek balance and wish to train smarter & more consistently without losing the joy of sport.

6I9A9120AIn 2015, I joined Team Amazing Day as an athlete, and it was the best decision I’ve made in my athletic career. I had completed a few sprint triathlon and one half marathon. In my first year of training with the team, I set a 23-minute half marathon PR and placed in the top 10 at my first 70.3. I was thrilled to cross my first Ironman finish line in 12:46 time at Ironman Louisville. I’ve been lucky enough to celebrate many happy moments in sport, but I’ve also struggled with injury after experiencing a heart-breaking bike crash four days prior to my second Ironman. Throughout my journey, I’ve always had a hunger to learn about the science of athletics and training, which led me to begin coaching in 2019. As a coach, I understand the hard work and dedication that it takes to chase huge goals, as well as the setbacks that can occur. At Team Amazing Day, we all support each other: our dreams and our challenges. I believe that training can be managed around a healthy and balanced lifestyle, and I aim to support my athletes in maintaining balance while nurturing their own love for triathlon.

As a triathlon coach, physical therapist and strength coach, I am passionate about the human body, how it works and how to make it work more efficiently and effectively! While I grew up dancing, over the past 8 years I’ve persevered through seven ironman races, countless other triathlon and running distance races and found excitement, a fun way to stay in shape and challenge myself through the sport of triathlon. As a coach, I listen to my athlete’s goals to create a unique plan for them, working around their schedule, to get them to the start (and finish!!) line healthy, happy and efficiently! I love coaching a wide variety of athletes from beginners to experienced athletes at all different distances and seeing them accomplish goals they never thought they could!

I fell in love with triathlon as soon as I completed my first, back in 2006.  Since then, my love for the sport has taken me across the finish line of sprint & Olympic triathlons, half and full ironman races, not to mention numerous open running races, cycling events, and open water swim races.  I am thrilled to join the Team Amazing Day coaching staff, bringing nearly a decade of coaching experience, both in-person and virtual.  I have experience working with athletes of all ability levels, but where I shine is with those just beginning their journey as an athlete, helping them to achieve what they never thought possible.  As your coach, I will work with you one-on-one to develop a plan that is focused around your individual needs and goals.  As a full-time accountant, I understand the challenges that come along with balancing a career and ironman training, and together we can work to fit training around your life-style in a way that allows you to reach the start line feeling confident and prepared, then the finish line strong and triumphant.
